A graveside funeral service for Mr. Rudolph Iodice, a former Watertown Police officer, on Friday, Oct. 30 at 11 a.m. at St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Watertown.
Mr. Iodice passed away in the Exeter Hospital, Exeter, N.H., on Wednesday, Sept. 23. He was 92 years of age.
A long time resident of Watertown, Rudy worked for as a Policeman in Watertown for many years. Prior to his service for the town of Watertown, Rudy bravely fought in World War II as a sergeant in the Marine Corps. Rudy and his fellow Marines fought for our freedom in the South Pacific, including enemy air attacks in the Gilbert Islands.
Rudy leaves behind his beloved wife Mary A. (McEllin). Devoted father to Gregory and his wife Shelia of New Hampshire, and his late daughter Deborah. Loving grandfather of Anna, Greg Jr., and Michael Iodice. Loving brother of Arthur Iodice.
Burial and Marine funeral honors for Rudy will take place at St. Patrick Cemetery on Belmont Street in Watertown at 11 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 30. Family and friends are kindly invited to attend.
