Whale Day
The Watertown Mall, located at 550 Arsenal Street, Watertown, will be hosting the New England Aquarium for their “Whale Day” event on Tuesday, July 31, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Visit the Watertown Mall for their “Whale Day” event, sponsored by the New England Aquarium. The event will be taking place on July 31, 2018 from 11:00 to 2:00. A great program for families, Whale Day allows children to learn about whales and other ocean life and participate in fun activities, such as a whale feeding simulation and a whale species matching game. Experts will be curating various
demonstrations, including one that invites participants to put on a “blubber glove” to show them how whale blubber works to keep whales warm. And, in addition to that, all attendees will be permitted to take pictures with Calvin, a life-sized inflatable whale. Don’t miss out – call your friends and invite them to join
you in celebrating Whale Day!
This event is FREE to the general public; it will take place in the back hallway, near Carter’s.
Beatrix Potter’s Birthday
The Watertown Mall, located at 550 Arsenal Street, Watertown, alongside Watertown Families Together will be hosting Beatrix Potter’s Birthday on Thursday August 2, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. in the back hallway near Carter’s.
Take a trip down memory lane at the Watertown Mall to celebrate the woman who brought the childhood classic “Peter Rabbit” to life. Everyone is invited to join the life of this special day while listening to music, making crafts, participating in a raffle and reading your favorite childhood stories. Mark your calendars today for this special event!

Super Cold Science
The Watertown Mall, located at 550 Arsenal Street, Watertown, will host the Super Cold Science exhibit brought to you by the Museum of Science.
Come and learn about the changes in substances as they go through a dramatic change in temperature. This program investigates the science of cold with several fun demonstrations. This is a great opportunity to ask questions and get involved and learn how to use science to answer questions such as “What is this substance?!”
This event will take place August 17, 2018 at 11:00 a.m.
The Museum of Science has many incredible traveling programs including live animals, planetariums, and hands-on workshops throughout New England. For about 180 years, the Museum of Science has evolved to meet the needs of society and has become one of Boston’s leading cultural institutions.
