
Watertown Savings Bank recently announced the winners of the annual Customer Choice Awards. See the announcement from the Bank below.
On Wednesday, April 9, Watertown Savings Bank (WSB) distributed $100,000.00 amongst 33 local non-profit organizations chosen by its banking customers and local residents, at their 26th Annual Customer Choice Awards Night held at the American Legion Post 440 in Newton.
Ten Watertown organizations made the list of winners, with the top prize of $15,000.00 being awarded to St. James Armenian Church Youth Organization of America (ACYOA). Fourth place winner Watertown Boys & Girls Club received a $5,000.00 award. Mosesian Center for the Arts and Sayat Nova Armenian Dance Company were both recipients of a $3,000.00 prize. The Family Cooperative and the Ancient Order of Hibernians receiving a $2,000.00 Award. And a $1,500.00 prize was awarded to: St. Stephen’s Armenian Elementary School, Armenian Relief Society, the Watertown Free Public Library, and Watertown Food Pantry.
“Our Customer Choice Awards program is one of which we are particularly proud because of how many organizations benefit,” said President and CEO Brett Dean. “The list of winners reflects the important work being done by non-profit organizations throughout the communities we serve. Customer Choice Awards Night is the Bank’s favorite event of the year.”
WSB has awarded $1.2 million dollars through the Customer Choice Awards program since its launch 26 years ago.
