Friends of Watertown Music invites you to our 12th Annual MusicFest this Friday, April 11th.
Doors open at 5:15 pm and performances start promptly at 5:30 pm! Come celebrate music with us!
The Instrument “Petting Zoo” also kicks off at 5:30 and runs till 6:45 while music lasts until 9 pm. Pizza and snacks available. This year we again feature a variety of music – folk, jazz, classical, pop, and rock – concurrent solo and group acts on different “stages” including, among others: local favorites Ruth Rappaport and Joe Pete Wetherbee; Tracksuit Pacino; Poet’s Corner; former WPS Strings Director, Dr. Frederik Schuetze; piano, woodwinds, reeds, brass, strings, voice, classical and flamenco guitar … in solos or small ensembles; many popular Watertown Public School teachers; and let us not forget the student jazz & rock bands!
Venue: Watertown Middle School, 68 Waverley Avenue.
Fundraiser for Friends of Watertown Music, a 501(c)(3) organization: suggested donation $8/person or $25/family.
