A Watertown group will be holding a protest in Watertown on March 29. See the announcement provided by William Beckett.
Concerned Watertown citizens are invited to attend a non-violent rally against Elon Musk and DOGE.
Saturday, March 29, at 10:00 a.m., Tesla Service Center, 457 Pleasant St., Watertown
This rally will be part of an international day of opposition to Musk and DOGE.
I guess when you can’t win with “Joy!” as your slogan, you might as well key an EV. Dress nicely, however, as you’re likely to be filmed. After which you’ll be charged with a crime, and if convicted, you’ll be sent to prison to make license plates for the very cars you sabotaged. That’s known as your karma running over your dogma.
But this is billed as a “non-violent rally”. So no need for the can of mace—though an umbrella would be handy for the cold rain in the forecast. Even if I disagree with the cause, as I do, I can celebrate a non-violent rally as an exercise of freedom of speech and assembly. I just celebrate $115,000,000,000 in savings, so far, more.
Remember to dress for the event. Unlike today (Friday), tomorrow’s weather will not be cooperating: “Rain showers in the morning becoming a steady light rain in the afternoon. High 42F. Wind NE 10 mph” Bring your signs and your voices, but leave your guns, matches, and keys at home. USAG Bondi is not kidding around: “We are seeking 20 years in prison. They are setting off bombs, the huge fires. Look what you’re seeing, huge, massive fires, in residential neighborhoods, at charging stations, someone is going to get killed, a citizen is going to get killed, and these people, we are not doing any plea negotiations on them. So, they better cut it out.” They haven’t cut it out yet, but tomorrow is a new day.
Oh, they will. I can see the sartorial splendor reflected in the photo above.
“Old man yells at clouds.”
Laughs at snowflakes, actually.
I hope the two protestors injured by a side mirror are okay. I read they declined medical attention, and one of them was well enough to describe the impact on WBZ-TV news. When I passed by shortly after 12:30 the place was deserted. Probably for the best.
I think they are uninjured. They are not OK, however. And they should seek medical attention for reasons other than the mirror itsy bitsy brush.
