
The following information was provided by the Watertown Police Department.
Feb. 22: A man was caught shoplifting $127 worth of merchandise at Target. Robert Richards, 37 of Cambridge, was arrested for shoplifting by concealment, a subsequent offense.
Feb. 22: A resident reported that someone used their Social Security Number. The resident tried to file a tax return and was told that someone had already filed a return using that name and SSN.
Feb. 22: At 5:40 p.m. a woman went into Nike and took $405 worth of sneakers.
Feb. 23: A Pleasant Street resident said someone opened a Best Buy credit card in their name and charged $1,020 worth of merchandise including Nintendo Switches and a TV. They were picked up at the store in North Attleboro.
Feb. 23: A man took $414 in clothing from Nike. Around the same time, Target reported a man matching the same description taking $131.48 worth of merchandise.
Feb. 23: Target security reported a woman took $167 worth of women’s clothing.
Feb. 25: Two men and one woman took $300 worth of merchandise from Nike before leaving in a grey Volkswagen.
Feb. 25: Nike security reported that a woman took $200 worth of merchandise.
Feb. 25: A woman was spotted taking $109 worth of merchandise from Target.
Feb. 26: A pickup truck parked on Sycamore Street had three tires slashed.
Feb. 27: A scooter was taken from a driveway on Boylston Street. The silver and blue 2009 Shenke was last seen in the driveway on Feb. 25.
Feb. 27: An ebike was taken from Pho O Sha restaurant on Arsenal Street. The Velotric Fold 1 bike belongs to an employee of the restaurant who parked it when the person arrived at work and at 3:30 p.m. it was gone. It is valued at $1,200.
