First up will be boys hockey, which got the 12th seed in the MIAA Div. 3 tournament. The Raiders (7-12) will host 21st-seeded Pembroke (6-12) in the Round of 32 at Ryan Arena in Watertown at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 26.

Last season, the Raiders won their first round tournament game. Students and adults must buy tickets for the tournament game. Click here to get tickets. The winner faces either fifth-seeded Triton or Diman Regional, the 28th seed.

Watertown’s girls basketball team (13-8) will host a Round of 32 game at Watertown Middle School on Friday, against 18th-seeded Oakmont. The 15th-seeded Raiders will try to give the Spartans (20-0) their first loss of the season.

The winner will likely face second-seeded Foxborough. Tickets are available by clicking here (students must also buy tickets). The Middle School gym has a small capacity, and tickets sold out last year. The Raiders will look to win the first round game again, as they did last season.

Boys Basketball

The highest ranked team going into the postseason is the Watertown boys basketball squad. The Raiders (14-6) got the ninth seed, and will host the winner of Tuesday’s game between 24th-seeded Fairhaven (12-8) and 41st-seeded Oakmont (10-10).

The date and time of the game, which will take place at Watertown Middle School, has not been announced. The team that advances will take on the winner of eighth-seed Abington and 25th seed Nipmuc or 40th seed Auburn. Last year the Raiders won their first round game.
