Jana Grill in Watertown has reopened after repairing damage to the restaurant at 2 Watertown St. after a vehicle struck the building in July.

“We’re back! The wait is over — @janabakeryandgrill is open again and ready to serve you the best Mediterranean flavors in town!”

Watertown Couple Closing Their Restaurant

Watertown residents Artur and Sandra Andronic thanked their customers for their support and loyalty in their announcement that they will be closing Moldova Restaurant, in Nonantum, after nine years on Dec. 29, 2024.

“This decision was not made lightly. Business conditions in 2024 have made it unfeasible to continue operating the restaurant as a business, and as a result we have lost our lease,” the announcement on the Moldova website reads.

The Andronics said they plan to focus on their family.

“This restaurant was our first baby, and our two actual babies grew up with Moldova Restaurant, but we gave it all we had, and it’s time to focus on family and a healthy work/life balance,” they wrote.
