See what the Watertown High School robotics team can do when the students take part in the Science Carnival at the Cambridge Science Festival.
The festival and started on Sept. 23 and runs through Sept. 29. The WHS Robotics team will be there on Sunday, Sept. 29 from 12-4 p.m. at the Kendall/MIT Open Space, 292 Main St., Cambridge.
The team provided the following description of the event:
The Watertown High School Robotics Team is a group that teaches engineering, teamwork, and leadership skills to high school students and spreads interest in STEM education throughout the Watertown community. We compete in the FIRST Robotics Competition as FRC 2423.
Visit the Watertown High School Robotics Team and play with our 2024 competition robot! This robot is 100 lbs. and built entirely by high school students. Learn how it works, interact with the robot as it’s controlled by a human operator, and find out more about STEM education in your community!
The Cambridge Science Festival is free to attend, includes 300 free events, and free entry to the MIT Museum who produces the festival. Find out more about the Cambridge Science Festival here.
