As the summer and our 2023-24 season of programming near their ends, we have one more performance from MCA Improv to keep you laughing! It’s also time to sign up for fall classes! And don’t miss the call for art for another exhibition—this one based on arts and science! Come see, learn, and experience it all at Mosesian Arts!
MCA IMPROV | WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 21 | 7:00 PM
Don’t miss MCA’s adult improv class in a showcase performance of games and scenes! Our battle-worn improvisers are takin’ their fight to the streets in a show called Sad Max: Furry Road.
$10 General Admission ticket proceeds support MCA’s improv program and other arts education programming. If you can’t provide the suggested amount, please reach out to tickets@mosesianarts.org.
FALL CLASSES
Registration continues for fall arts education programs, with offerings in performing and visual arts classes for children, teens, and adults! Visual arts classes include printmaking, painting, drawing, and mixed media. Classes in the performing arts include acting, voice, improv, and technical theater.
Spaces are still open too for our Watertown Children’s Theatre production of Big Fish: School Edition for grades 6-12.
CALL TO ARTISTS
A new call to artists is open for Vision and Process: Art Inspired by Science. Both artists and scientists are known for their creativity, careful observation of the world around them, and determination. To quote Ray Bradbury: “Science is no more than an investigation of a miracle we can never explain, and art is an interpretation of that miracle.”
Submit artwork inspired by science—from biology, engineering, chemistry, astronomy, botany, geology to any other scientific field—in 2D and 3D media including video and installation by the deadline of September 23.
