Watertown Summer Basketball League Finals Begin Tonight!

The Watertown Summer Basketball League Finals will feature two teams of former college basketball players. The best-of-three series begins Tuesday night at the court outside the Watertown Boys & Girls Club at Saltonstall Park.

The league is run by the Watertown Recreation Department, which provided the following information:

The 2024 Elite League Finals have been set. No. 4 More Than Different held off the defending champion No. 1 Donohue’s Kaos Club, 66-58, to earn a spot in the championship series, while No. 7 New Day held off No. 6 HBC in overtime, 50-48.

No. 4 More Than Different – 66

Top scorers: Colin McNamara, WPI (21); Brendan McNamara, Emerson (12); Logan O’Donnell, WPI (12); Keyshaad Dixon, MSU Denver (11)

No. 1 Donohue’s Kaos Club – 58

Top Scorers: Miles Wright, Dartmouth (16); Seth Hauben, Rochester (15)


No. 7 New Day – 50

Top Scorer: Akeem Williams, UMass-Lowell (17)

No. 6 HBC – 48

Top Scorer: Jon Lee, Northeastern (18)

Elite Finals will begin Tuesday, Aug. 13 at 7 p.m.
