To qualify for the dean’s list, students must earn a grade point average of at least 3.5 with no grade lower than C. Full-time students must complete at least 14 credits in a semester, with at least 12 credits that have been graded on a letter grade basis to be eligible. Part-time students must complete at least six credits during a semester. Names followed by an asterisk denotes with honors.
Hamilton College
Taylor Lambo, of Watertown (02472), has been named to the Dean’s List at Hamilton College for the spring 2024 semester.
To be named to the Dean’s List, a student must have carried a course load of four or more graded credits throughout the semester and earned an average GPA of 3.5 or above on a 4.0 scale.
Lambo, a rising junior majoring in physics, is a graduate of Watertown Senior High School.
Champlain College
Oliver Hoblitzelle of Watertown, MA, was named to the Champlain College Trustees’ List for the Spring 2024 semester.
Students on the Trustees’ List have achieved a 4.0 grade point average for two or more consecutive semesters. Hoblitzelle is majoring in Filmmaking.

Holy Cross
James O’Connor of Watertown was named to the College of the Holy Cross Spring 2024 Dean’s List.
A member of the Class of 2027, O’Connor was named to the Dean’s List for outstanding academic achievement during the spring semester of the 2023-24 academic year.
To qualify, students must pass four or more letter-graded courses with no failing grades during the semester and earn a GPA of 3.5 or higher.
Dean College
Dean College is pleased to announce that Isabella Nitschke of Watertown has earned a place on the Dean’s List for the Spring 2024 semester. Students named to the Dean’s List have demonstrated a serious commitment to their studies while at Dean College.
University of Hartford
The University of Hartford is pleased to announce that Caleb Orvik of Watertown has been named to the Dean’s List for the spring 2024 semester.
The Dean’s List recognizes students achieving superior academic standing. The requirement, with some exceptions, is a grade point average of at least 3.0 and no grade below C.
Roger Williams University
Bella Johnson, of Watertown, MA, has been named to the Spring 2024 Dean’s List at Roger Williams University, in Bristol, R.I. Full-time students who complete 12 or more credits per semester and earn a grade point average of 3.4 or higher are placed on the Dean’s List that semester.
St. Olaf College
The following local students made the Spring 2024 Dean’s List at St. Olaf College.

The Dean’s List is a scholarly award for students who demonstrate academic excellence, have earned a GPA of 3.75 or above, and completed at least three credits for that semester.
Fort Hays State University
Fort Hays State University has named 1,594 students to the Deans’ Honor Roll for the spring 2024 semester, including Paul Rus of Watertown.
The Deans’ Honor Roll includes undergraduate students only. To be eligible, students must have completed 12 or more credit hours and earned a minimum grade-point average of 3.60 for the semester. Full-time on-campus and online students are eligible.
Bucknell University
Bucknell University has released the dean’s list for outstanding academic achievement during the spring semester of the 2023-24 academic year. A student must earn a grade point average of 3.5 or higher on a scale of 4.0 to receive dean’s list recognition.
