Dear friends,

It’s with a heavy heart we have to inform you about a temporary closing of our restaurant. Last night at 2:19 am, a yet unidentified red truck slammed into our front entrance and hid the scene. A lot of external and internal damage has been caused. If you have seen something or can help us identify the driver please contact us or the Watertown Police Department to aid the ongoing investigation. Sharing the video may help as well.

We apologize that we have to cancel all reservations and orders for the upcoming weeks. This is shocking news to us and we are still processing. More information soon.

In advance we’d like to thank our supportive community and the city of Watertown for everything.

Kindly,
Jana Family

Jana Grill previously closed temporarily following a two-alarm fire at the restaurant at the corner of Galen and Watertown streets in September 2021.

  1. I really feel for the owners of Jana Grill! I hope folks in Watertown (and Newton) make a point of visiting them when they reopen.
