KinderCare Learning Centers is excited to announce the opening of a new child care center in Watertown. Arsenal Yards KinderCare is located at 501 Arsenal Street.
The center will be led by Suzyann Miller, an educator with more than 30 years of experience in early childhood education.
“I believe in empowering and being mindful in all situations, and I’m excited to be the new director for Arsenal Yard KinderCare,” said Miller. “I believe a nurturing environment should focus on safety and meeting all individual’s needs as they embark on their educational journey. I am dedicated to ensuring that each child that enters our center receives a high-quality education to help set them up for success in the future.”
The center opened Monday, January 8 and will provide high-quality care and early education for around 150 children ages six weeks to seven years old and will be able to employ 30 teachers and staff. Arsenal Yard KinderCare center features a diverse staff in age, race, experience, education and language including English, Spanish, Russian, Haitian Creole and Portuguese.

“We provide a warm and welcoming home away from home, with direct, open and honest communication,” said Miller. “We are passionate in the work we do, and we strive to meet children where they are to provide a safe environment for children to develop the foundational skills they need to be confident and successful in their lifelong journey. Our center will provide nutritional meals and a parent-friendly communication KinderCare app to help ease morning routines for families.”
