As part of the changes to the Watertown Charter all City Councilors must have an annual meeting to meet with the public. City Councilor John Gannon, a Councilor at-large, announced dates for his constituent meeting. See info below.
City Councilor John Gannon’s Annual Councilor Meeting is Wednesday Dec. 13, 2023 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. in the Lower Hearing Room in City Hall. This is an in-person meeting only, not hybrid.
It’s too bad that Councilor Gannon’s annual meeting is taking place on December 13. It conflicts with the Planning Board Meeting scheduled for 7 p.m.
The Broder (Cannistraro Plumbing) site is on the agenda for the Planning Board and this is an important meeting for residents to attend to see what, if any, positive improvements have been made to their plans to accommodate the abutting neighborhood.
This lab development is going to have a significant impact on the surrounding streets – Acton St., Rosedale St., Pleasant St. and many others. This may be the last chance for residents to voice their opinions before plans are finalized.
If Councilor Gannon could possibly change his meeting date, that would be greatly appreciated.
