Four Watertown basketball players made the Boston Herald’s preseason Players to Watch lists, two from the boys team and a couple members of the girls team.
A pair of sister made the list for the Div. 3 girls basketball 2021-22 season: senior Taylor and sophomore Lily Lambo. Senior Ellie Monahan, a co-captain along with Taylor Lambo, was also mentioned among the experienced team returning for the Raiders.
The Raiders, coached by Pat Ferdinand, have started 4-0, and have won every game by at least 9 points.

The Herald highlighted Watertown High School basketball seniors Adam Patterson and Tyler Timpeiro as players to watch in Div. 3 boys basketball this season. The paper also credited Head Coach Steve Harrington for getting the most out of his roster.
The Raiders have started the season 2-3, and 2-2 in the Middlesex League, including wins at Melrose and against Wilmington, and a last second loss against Arlington.
