Nov. 30, 2021 is Giving Tuesday, a day when people are encouraged to donate to groups and organizations doing work to help the community. Here are some local groups to consider supporting.
Watertown Boys & Girls Club
The Watertown Boys & Girls Club received a donation of a $1,000 from PhPMA and it has been requested that this donation be used as a matching gift In Memory Of Billy O’Brien, a longtime Club member and Watertown resident.

Wayside Multi-Service Center
The Watertown Multi-Service Center provides support to people in Watertown inlcuding:
Providing a full range of mental health services for children, adolescents, and their families including diagnostic assessments, psychological evaluation, medication evaluation and treatment, on-call emergency services, and individual, group and family therapy; and teaching young people to make good decisions by engaging in projects that work to prevent risky behaviors like smoking, drug and alcohol use, and unsafe sexual practices.

Perkins School for the Blind
Perkins has set a goal of raising $10,000 by midnight Tuesday to support children and adults with visual impairments and multiple, complex disabilities. Every dollar you donate will be MATCHED to help our youngest learners.

Watertown Community Fridge
Watertown Community Fridge (WCF) is a shared resource, collectively maintained by the community and for the community. Watertown Community Fridge is one of many of its kind, offering options and alternatives to formal food sharing channels. It operates on the principle of “Take what you need, give what you can.”

Watertown Community Foundation
The Watertown Community Foundation awards grants for educational programs, health programs, revitalization of the riverfront, and provides emergency assistance for families in crisis.

Watertown Food Pantry
The Watertown Food Pantry provides food assistance to any Watertown resident in need. The Watertown Senior Center provides administrative oversight to the Watertown Food Pantry.
