Wednesday night’s Summer Concert will be dedicated to the COVID-19 heroes, and features rock band Perfect Crime.
Perfect Crime will play from 6:30-8 p.m. at Saltonstall Park, next to Watertown Town Hall (149 Main St.), on Aug. 25.
The five-piece band plays “Killer Classic Rock,” and describes its style as rich, layered vocals, authentic, vintage organ and guitar chops and a selection of the very best music of the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s and beyond. They feature three lead vocalists.
A proclamation signed by Town Council President Mark Sideris declares Aug. 25 COVID-19 Heroes Day. The concert is part of the thank you to the frontline and on-site employees who worked through the pandemic, including: members of the military, veterans, health care and service industry providers, along with volunteers, Town employees, election workers and volunteers at the Watertown Food Pantry.
