LIBRARY REMINDERS
COVID-19 Reopening | WFPL has resumed full hours of operation, with some COVID precautions still in place. Face masks are required for all people 2 years and older in the Children’s Room. Learn more: watertownlib.org/reopening

Summer Reading for Children
Beginning Monday, 6/21 | It’s not too late to join The Watertown Free Public Library’s Summer Reading Program! This year, we’re offering:
- A reading program with nine weekly challenges
- New craft bags every Friday
- Story Time: virtually on Facebook Live and outside near the Library!
- Outdoor programs on Wednesday afternoons
- A sweet surprise for Friday, 8/20. We’ll share more info in the Children’s Room and on social media soon! Stay tuned.
Story Time, Online and Outside
Outside on the Library front lawn: Mondays at 12 PM & Thursdays at 11 AM
Online via Facebook Live: Tuesdays at 10:30 AM
Story time is for children of all ages and lasts about half an hour. Families are welcome to bring a picnic sandwich to eat while they listen to story time outside!
Take and Make
Do you have a creative kid at home? Pick up a take and make bag in the Children’s Room! Through the month, we’ll continue adding more crafts, games, and DIY fun.

Pop-Up Patio Concerts at WFPL: Lainey Dionne
Friday 8/27 | 5 PM | Outside on the Library Patio | Rhode Island indie pop singer/songwriter Lainey Dionne is not afraid to speak her mind through her songs. Her award-winning singles “Hey London” and “Skin” are streaming now. Lainey is currently working with a team in Nashville on her first full length album which is expected August 2021. Drop by and listen! Registration not required.
