A Funeral Mass for Timothy Alan McManus will be celebrated on Thursday, July 8, 2021 at 10:30 a.m., in the Church of Saint Patrick, Watertown.
A son of the late Joseph P. McManus and Edna M. (Feeley) McManus, Tim passed away suddenly on June 29, 2021.
Tim was a lifelong and proud resident of Watertown. A graduate of UMass Lowell, he worked in the Boston area construction industry for decades, most recently at Timberline Construction of Canton where he was the Executive Vice President. He lived life to the fullest, bringing a passion to everything he did. Tim was a sports enthusiast and an avid golfer (reigning champ of Maine’s Biddefored Open), a valued, widely-respected manager in his field of employment, and a beloved member of the (Morse Street) McManus and the Farrington clans of Watertown. He loved nothing more than to entertain in his home, and treasured his summer vacation retreats to Hills Beach in Maine. He was a generous man who gave his time and money for those he loved and those in need.
Tim had a wide circle of friends, including a group of high school-era classmates who were like family to him. All took a back seat, however, to Tim’s wife Kathy, and their Children, Bryan, his wife Justine, and Carly, on whom he doted and dedicated most of his free time and energy. He was a beloved husband, father, and father in-law, who will be dearly missed.
Tim was the beloved husband of Kathleen M. (Farrington) McManus. Loving father of Bryan J.
McManus & his wife Justine of Dorchester and Carly Jean McManus of Brighton. Dear brother
of Paul McManus of Lynnfield, Robert McManus of Providence, James McManus of Billerica,
Jay McManus of Arlington, and Jane Ellen Kenslea of Newton. Also survived by many nieces,
nephews, grand nieces & nephews, cousins, and friends.
