Watertown’s first marijuana dispensary, Natural Selections, seeks to move when the lease at its current location expires. A Community Meeting will be held to discuss the proposed new location on Jan. 6 at 5 p.m. It will be held remotely via Zoom.
The dispensary opened in July for medical marijuana sales and in December started recreational sales. Its lease at 23 Elm St. expires at the end of 2021, and the company seeks to move to the former Monro Muffler site on Arsenal Street, across from the Arsenal on the Charles.

Notice is hereby given that a virtual community outreach meeting for NS AJO HOLDINGS, INC. (“NS AJO”)’s proposed Medical Marijuana Treatment Center and Marijuana Establishment is scheduled for January 6, 2021, at 5:00 p.m, online at https://princelobel.zoom.us/j/97017443721 or by telephone by calling +13017158592, Webinar ID: 970 1744 3721. The purpose of this meeting is to inform the public that NS AJO is seeking state approval to move its Marijuana Retailer and Medical Marijuana Treatment Center from 23 Elm Street, Watertown, MA 02472 to 390 Arsenal Street, Watertown, MA 02472 (the “Property”). Closed captioning will be provided. Community Members and members of the public are encouraged to ask questions and receive answers from representatives of NS AJO.
Questions may be submitted in advance to alex@NaturalSelectionsMA.com. All materials for the meeting will be available more than 24 hours before the virtual community outreach meeting on www.princelobel.com.
This Virtual Community Outreach Meeting will be held in accordance with the Massachusetts Cannabis Control Commission’s Administrative Order Allowing Virtual Web-Based Community Outreach Meetings and the applicable requirements set forth in M.G.L. ch. 94G and 935 CMR 500.000 et seq.
A copy of this notice is on file with the Town Clerk’s, Planning Board, Department of Community Development and Planning, Town Manager and Town Council’s offices located at Watertown Town Hall, 149 Main Street, Watertown, Massachusetts. A copy of this notice was published in a newspaper of general circulation at least fourteen (14) calendar days prior to the virtual community outreach meeting and mailed at least seven (7) calendar days prior to the virtual community outreach meeting to abutters of the Property, owners of land directly opposite the Property on any public or private street or way, and abutters to the abutters within three hundred (300) feet of the property line of the Property as they appear on the most recent applicable tax list, notwithstanding that the land of any such owner is located in another city or town.
