Town officials announced additional slots and days for free COVID-19 testing for Watertown residents.
The Town of Watertown will be offering additional slots, by appointment only, of COVID-19 testing for Watertown residents. In order to obtain an appointment a Watertown resident must pre-register by clicking on the following link: https://proemscovidtesting.as.me/watertown
This is not a drive up test. Watertown residents who have an appointment will enter into the Commander’s Mansion and with the assistance of Pro Ambulance employees will conduct a self-administering nasal swab
(PCR test).
Very glad that more testing is taking place and thank you for this information.
But many people have doubts about how some deaths are classified as Covid-19 deaths.
For example, Colorado is counting gunshot deaths as Covid deaths if the victim tested positive:
https://denver.cbslocal.com/2020/12/17/grand-county-coronavirus-deaths-covid/
Washington State is doing similarly:

Similar kinds of things have been happening ever since testing began months ago.
It makes people doubt that the government is telling the truth about Covid.
Interesting stories. I know in Watertown the Health Department looks at the deaths and does not just count it if the death certificate mentions COVID.
Great to see more testing spots available.
Does the town know yet about the positivity rate from those tested?
But if we have a sudden appearance of symptoms and can’t be tested for 5 days (every place is full) how is that safe? Its so hard to be tested.
Are you only open to Watertown residents? No one outside of Watertown?
The COVID-19 testing by the Watertown Health Department is only for Watertown residents.
Hi Charlie – I was tested on Monday the 28th at commanders mansion and I still haven’t received results. Anyone else experiencing these delays?
