Residents can drop off food items during the upcoming “drive-thru” donation days at a local Food Pantry.
The first of the Watertown Catholic Collaborative Food Pantry Drive-Thru Donations Drop Off Days is Nov. 21, from 10 a.m. to noon. The no contact drive through location is at Sacred Heart Parish, 770 Mt. Auburn St. in Watertown.
Donations can be made by entering the driveway off of Mt. Auburn Street between the Pantry and the Church. Volunteers will collect items from the trunk of the vehicle.
The Catholic Collaborative Food Pantry serves all people, regardless of religious affiliation or residence.
Other drop off days will be held on Jan. 5 from 5-7 p.m., Feb. 20 10 a.m.-noon, and March 9 5-7 p.m.
Items being accepted include non-perishable and non-expired foods, including oatmeal, canned tuna, canned fruits and vegetables, pasta and more. See the list below:
