The area of Arsenal Street near School Street will be repaved beginning this week.
The project, which is being overseen by Athenahealth. is slated to begin with milling (scraping off the top layer of asphalt) on Nov. 19, weather permitting. The work on Arsenal Street goes from School Street to the entrance to the recently built West Garage in the Arsenal on the Charles.
The dates of repaving have not been announced, according to a letter from Athenahealth to nearby residents. See the letter below:
Dear Neighbors,
This notice is to inform you that as part of the ongoing construction work for the Arsenal on the Charles, Charles Contracting Co. Inc. is permitted to start road improvements on Arsenal St. The work will take place between the intersection of School St at Arsenal St and the West Garage Entrance. On Monday November 18th they will begin with minor work on castings near gutters. Milling will start on Tuesday, November 19th. At this time, we do not have a paving date narrowed down. All work on Arsenal St is weather permitting and will start at 9am.
