A Funeral Mass for Agnes L. McFarlin will be celebrated on Saturday May 11, 2019 at 11:00 a.m., in the Church of Saint Patrick, Watertown.
A daughter of the late William & Gertrude (McDonnell) McFarlin, Agnes passed away Sunday evening. She was 82.
Agnes was born in and raised in Alston and later in life moved to Watertown. She was a graduate of St. Columbkille High School in Brighton, St. Elizabeth Hospital’s Nursing School, and later received her Nurse Practitioner’s License from St. Joseph’s College in Maine. Agnes worked as a nurse and nurse practitioner in St. Elizabeth Hospital in Brighton. Her passion in life was her family, especially her four nieces and nine great nieces nurse nephews.
She was the beloved daughter of the late William and Gertrude (McDonnell) McFarlin. Dear sister of Francis T. McFarlin and his wife Mary of Watertown. Loving aunt of Maura Gallagher and her husband Raymond of Watertown, Judith Cox and her husband Keith of Winchester, Jane Leo and her husband Christopher of Franklin, and Susanne Brueggeman and her husband James of Watertown. A visitation will be held Saturday, May 11, 2019, from 9:30–10:30 a.m. in the MacDonald, Rockwell & MacDonald Funeral Home at 270 Main St. Watertown, followed by a Funeral Mass in the Church of St. Patrick, 212 Main St. 11:00 a.m..
Relatives and friends kindly invited.
