The Watertown High School football team’s struggles continued on its trip to Wilmington Friday night, where the Raiders fell 33-7.
After winning the season opener, the Raiders have dropped the next three leading up to their Middlesex League game at Wilmington.
On Friday, Wilmington built a 14 point second quarter lead before the Raiders struck back. Watertown’s David Manoukian then returned the kickoff 72-yards for a touchdown.
Wilmington kept the Raiders out of the end zone in the second half, while Peter Marino scored his second and third touchdowns of the evening.
Watertown falls to 1-4, but the Raiders return to Victory Field on Friday, Oct. 12 at 7 p.m. to face Stoneham.
