A Funeral Mass for Paul M. Airasian will be celebrated on Friday Sept. 28, 2018 at 9 a.m. in the Church of St. Patrick, Watertown.

Mr. Airasian, a son of the late Peter S. and Anna E. (Calles) Airasian passed away unexpectedly in his home on Sunday morning, Sept. 23, 2018. Paul was 70 years of age.

Paul was born and grew up in Watertown, graduating with the class of 1966 from Watertown High School. In 1970 he graduated from UMass Amherst. After Terry and Paul married, they moved to Belmont and raised daughter Amy.

Paul was a former owner of the Eastern Clothing Company in Watertown. He was the Executive Director of the Watertown Belmont Chamber of Commerce and was an Executive with the Belmont and Brookline Banks. Also, a former member of the Oakley Country Club, Watertown.

He is the beloved husband of Theresa “Terry” (Taccini). Devoted father of Amy M. Fathers and her husband John of Manhasset, NY. Loving grandfather of Peter J. Fathers. Dear brother of John S. and his wife Marie of Watertown and the late

Peter & his late wife Gwendolyn. Also loved by a niece Lynn FitzGerald and husband David, nephews Greg Airasian and his wife Karen, Peter Airasian, Robert Airasian and his wife Kim, and John Airasian and his wife Jackie.

Funeral from the MacDonald Rockwell and MacDonald Funeral Home at 270 Main St. Watertown Friday Sept. 28, 2018 at 8 a.m. followed by Funeral Mass in the Church of St. Patrick, 212 Main St., Watertown at 9 a.m. Relatives and friends kindly invited.

Visiting hours Thursday 4-8 p.m. Interment Mount Auburn Cemetery, Cambridge.

    Paul’s infectious smile, kindness and enthusiasm will truly be missed, by us, and by the Watertown and Belmont community.
