The works of Watertown’s Paul Angiolillo are now on display at the Weston Public Library, and a reception will be held on Jan., 18, 2018.
The Watertown-based artist carves and sculpts both outdoor and indoor works. He creates sculptures, furniture art, and functional objects out of natural and found materials, he aims for the evocative, engaging, and sometimes whimsical.
“New Works” will be shown in the gallery at the Weston Public Library, 87 School St., Weston, MA, through Jan. 30. A reception will be held on Thurs., Jan. 18, 6:30-8 p.m.
Angiolillo studied wood carving with master sculptor Joseph Wheelwright in Boston and stone carving with Peter Smith in Princeton, N.J. He shows his works
in galleries, museum gift shops (deCordova Museum, Fuller Craft Museum, Mosesian Center for the Arts), and solo and group shows.
