The following information was provided by the Watertown Police Department.
Arrests
Oct. 23, 2:55 a.m.: Police responded to CVS on Main Street for a report of suspicious activity. While they were there they encountered a man and in the course of speaking with him police discovered the man had a warrant for his arrest. The 45-year-old Waltham man was arrested on the warrant for trespassing.
Oct. 24, 2:45 p.m.: A Watertown detective on a drug task force was observing a suspect on Mt. Auburn Street and saw him meeting with another man. The pair appeared to be making a drug deal. Afterward, the officer pulled the suspect over on Boylston Street and in a search found he had a bag of oxycodone. A 27-year-old Watertown man was arrested on a charge of possession of a Class B Drug and driving with a suspended license.
Oct. 25, 3:15 p.m.: An officer patrolling in Watertown Square spotted a vehicle driving with a rear break light out. The vehicle was pulled over and police discovered the driver was not licensed to drive. The 36-year-old Framingham woman was arrested on a charge of driving without a license and an equipment violation.
Incidents
Oct. 23, 9:05 p.m.: A package went missing from a Commonwealth Road resident. The package was confirmed delivered by FedEx at 2:40 p.m. When the resident returned from work at 7 p.m. the package was gone. It contained $350 worth of clothing.
Oct. 24, 7:05 am.: A pedestrian was struck while crossing Grove Street at Arlington Street. The man was taken to Beth Israel Hospital to be treated for head trauma and a possible fractured leg, but he was in stable condition. The man was not in a crosswalk when he was struck. The cause the accident has not been determined and is under investigation.
Oct. 24, 7:50 p.m.: A Phillips Street resident discovered that some jewelry was missing. The resident believes someone took the jewelry, worth $1,500. On Oct. 15 she found her front door ajar and she believes that is when the jewelry was taken.
Oct. 25, 11:20 a.m.: A resident came to the Police Station to report that two bicycles had been stolen from an apartment complex on Pleasant Street. The bikes were left in the garage of the building. The last time the bikes were seen was on Sept. 24. One bike was a blue female Schwinn worth $280 and the other was an unknown brand of Panamanian bike.
Oct. 29, 11:15 a.m.: Police were called to Charles Street for a vehicle that had been broken into. The vehicle was parked in a driveway and when the owner came out in the morning he discovered it had been ransacked and change was stolen. The vehicle was left unlocked.
