Hello Everyone,
I’d like to thank all those who signed my petition back in July to help get me on the ballot and all of the people supporting me in this election.
Many people have had the chance to get to know me. For those who haven’t had the chance to meet me, there a few ways you can find out about me. My candidate interview can be seen on Watertown Cables Access Television at http://wcatv.org/election-
I’ve really enjoyed getting out and talking to many of the residents in Watertown and I hope I will have the chance meet many more residents over the next few days leading up to the election.
There are four At-Large seats and six candidates. I am asking that you take the opportunity to get to know me over the next few days and am asking for you to give me one of your four votes on Election Day, Tuesday, November 7th.
Thank You,
Michelle Cokonougher
Candidate for Councillor-At-Large
(Letters about the Town Election will be accepted until noon on Sunday, Nov. 5. Send them to watertownmanews@gmail.com)
Thanks Michelle you have my vote! Your decision to support an across the board increase in the residential exemption will save all homeowners (including me) money. I was going to vote for Councilor Dattoli, but was disappointed when he fell short of firmly committing to fully supporting an across the board increase of the residential exemption for everyone in November. The election is Nov 7th. Vote for Michelle if own your home and want to save on your tax bill!
(Donato, Palomba, and Michelle all supported an across the board residential increase – other candidates discussed a special version only for seniors and poor – that’s not how the exemption works in other cities!)
