The deadline to be registered to vote for Town Council, School Committee and Library Trustees in the Nov. 7 Watertown Election is Wednesday, Oct. 18.
To be eligible to register to vote in Massachusetts you must be a U.S. citizen, a resident of Massachusetts, and 18 years old on or before the next election.
You may register to vote in person at any local Town Clerk’s office. Watertown’s Town Clerk’s Office is located in the basement of Town Hall, 149 Main St., Watertown. You register online or check to see if you are registered on the Massachusetts Secretary of State’s website, www.sec.state.ma.us/ovr
Registration is also possible at a number of state agencies, including the Department of Transitional Assistance and the Registry of Motor Vehicles.
You must be registered at your current address.
