HBC celebrates after winning the Watertown Summer Basketball League finals series over Donohue’s Kaos Club.

The Finals of the Watertown Summer Basketball League went to a third and deciding game on Thursday and HBC took the title with a 62-38 win over Donohue’s Kaos Club.

After losing game 1, HBC rebounded with two strong performances to defeat the defending champions, the Recreation Department announced.

HBC was lead by Andrew Madlinger’s 14 points.

Earlier in the evening, the Control Club and Johnson Club punched their ticket to the O’Brien-Jerahian Finals, the legends league, which will begin Tuesday at 7 p.m. at Saltonstall Park.

Control swept the Finnegan Club by the score of 69-52, while the Johnson Club advanced by nipping the Kaos Club by the score of 52-49.
