Watertown High School’s track team recently teamed up with students with disabilities to show them about their sport.
The four week Watertown High School Adaptive Track Program finished a successful firsst season. WHS athletes mentored students with disabilities in running, jumping, stretching and throwing.
The participants were ages 7 to 16 and they received certificates and medals upon completion of the program. The program was started by the WHS Track Booster Club.
Great mentoring program! I hope all the kids involved had a great time!!! Do we have a challenger soccer program here for kids…that is also a great opportunity for all kids!
