The contest is sponsored by Watertown Realtor Bob Airasian, and the deadline to enter is Dec. 10, 2016.

Independent judges will view the decorations on the weekend of Dec. 17 and 18, and winners will be notified by Dec. 21, 2016.
A residential holiday lights contest was a nice idea but I never heard that the winner was announced; it would be great to see a pic of the winning house & know what charity received the donation money. Thanks
Hi Anne,
We had great contestants this year. The winning house was on Spruce St in Watertown. They had an amazing display. The $250 donation went to the Watertown Community Foundation.
I’d you would like a picture, please email or call me. All my information is on my website. http://www.bobairasian.raveis.com.
Thank you for your interest.
Hi Bob,
Thanks for your reply, I thought that the contest was a very nice idea & the charity donation was a great component. If you run it again I suggest publishing the entrants so residents can enjoy the tour too.
Charlie, this is definitely worthy of a follow up w/pic of the winning house & charity
dear Anne, Respected Mr. Airasian I know neither of you more than reading your posts. while I waited for a similar post as the one of December 2015 about the holiday decoration contest, I realized I am actually getting lazy and avoid to just go out and see for myself! In the era of people being glued on their phones and GPS devices taking a self-planned tour of your own town to greet all your neighbors is a healthy recommendation. To a certain extent it is not even safe to have a published tour of suggested winter nights strolls….Is not like with the charity money a nice net of explanatory maps were created and placed in representative places around Watertown so that people get to enjoy the town better.
