Invest In Watertown invites you to a FUNdraiser! Help bring the Community Preservation Act to Watertown!
Invest in Watertown announced it will host a Conversation, Food, and Drink with Warren Tolman. The former State Senator and FOX 25 Commentator will discuss the 2016 Presidential Election.
The meeting is Sunday, Oct. 2 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the new Marriott Residence Inn, 570 Arsenal St.
Suggested Donation $50. RSVP to cpawatertown@gmail.com.
Invest in Watertown is the coalition sponsoring the Community Preservation Act (CPA) that will appear on the Nov. 8 election ballot.
The CPA will create a fund to be used locally in Watertown dedicated to outdoor recreation and open space, historic preservation, and affordable housing. Funds would be generated through a small surcharge on property tax bills and a match by the Commonwealth’s Community Preservation Trust Fund.
To learn more about the CPA and how you can help the campaign, and to make a donation visit our website at Invest in Watertown.
The Invest In Watertown coalition needs your help! We need you not only to vote for the CPA on Tuesday, Nov. 8, but to get involved now. Please volunteer to take a yard sign, make phone calls, hold a sign on election day, go door-to-door, and spread the word to your friends, neighbors, and co-workers.
If you are a member of a community organization, civic group, faith-based community, please invite us to speak at your meetings, do a mailing to your membership, or put an announcement in your upcoming newsletter or bulletin.
Contact us at cpawatertown@gmail.com to get started now!
If Warren Tolman is for the CPA, that’s good enough for me to vote no!
