Watertown’s field hockey squad has had more than its share of celebrations recently. It has won the state championship seven straight times and last year the team made national news by breaking the record for unbeaten streak (it was 153, now is 164 and counting).
After the game, the team presented Donahue with a sign saying “Congratulations on 600 wins!” and enjoyed some cake.
Donahue told the Globe that she did not treat the game differently from other games, she just focused on Reading.
