Adriana Pinto recently joined the Watertown Rotary Club, and she shared some information about herself.
I am a Brazilian who moved to Boston in 1999. I simply fell in love with the city and the area! I worked as an early childhood teacher at a Montessori School for fourteen years and just last year I changed careers, as I decided to follow my background in Business Administration and become a Loan Officer.
I work at Lendmark Mortgage Corporation in Waltham – it has been a great experience!
My family is back home, and as I miss them very much, I don’t miss the country as much, though. Thanks to technology, I get to chat with my folks weekly, making for the distance to almost non-existent.
Luckily we get to see each other often. Yes, Brazil is a great place, and I have been enjoying it during vacation time!
I am thrilled to be the newest member of the Rotary Club of Watertown. I am a resident of Watertown and I see this as an opportunity to connect to the neighborhood that I live, as well as to participate in projects and events that will benefit the community. I dance Argentine Tango and organize events for many years. I intend to volunteer and spread the joy of dancing to both kids and adults alike!
Cheers!
The Watertown Rotary Club meets on Tuesdays at 12:15 p.m. at Oakley Country Club. Anyone interested in attending can contact John Airasian at john.m@easternclothing.com
