The following information was provided by the Watertown Police Department.
Arrests
Nov. 9, 5:42 p.m.: A woman was stopped in the Gap Outlet after she was seen taking clothing and putting it in her purse and attempted to leave. She had $130 worth of items. The 22-year-old Cambridge woman was arrested for shoplifting.
Nov. 10, 7:10 a.m.: After investigating a case of vandalism, police tracked the suspect to a home on Waverley Avenue. Police arrested the 53-year-old Watertown man on the warrant for vandalism.
Nov. 10, 3:58 p.m.: Target security spotted two women and a man acting suspiciously and then saw the man take a pair of Apple headphones and a winter hat. The 19-year-old Dorchester man was arrested for shoplifting and a warrant for larceny over $250 from Boston District Court. The two women were trespassed from the store.
Nov. 14, 9:30 a.m.: A suspicious man was reported on California Street and when police questioned him they found the 49-year-old homeless man had a warrant for failure to pay a fine from the Waltham District Court.
Nov. 15, 2:23 a.m.: A vehicle was pulled over on North Beacon Street for speeding and one of the passengers in the back was not wearing a seatbelt. Police ran a check and found the 25-year-old Watertown woman had a warrant from Concord District Court for traffic offenses.
Incidents
Nov. 9, 12:01 a.m.: The owner of Coolidge Variety and Deli was in the basement when he heard a loud noise and when he went up to check he saw a man running from the store, and saw the cover of a fan had been removed. He recognized the man, who was later arrested on Waverley Avenue.
Nov. 9, 3:42 p.m.: The owner of Hair Today on Mt. Auburn Street came into the story Monday and found that the rear door was open and the cash register and some hair supplies were missing. It happened sometime between 6 p.m. on Saturday and Monday afternoon. There were no signs of forced entry.
Nov. 11, 9:43 a.m.: A car parked in a driveway on Hunt Street had its right rear tire slashed.
Nov. 12, 8:07 a.m.: In March woman gave some jewelry to a friend for safekeeping, but she discovered the jewelry was missing. The missing items include two strings of pearls and two rings and in total are worth $7,500.
Nov. 12, 9:02 p.m.: A Church Hill Street resident reported that his vehicle had been vandalized for the fourth time. He found a fresh scratch on the passenger side.
Nov. 14, 12:20 p.m.: A Melendy Avenue resident came out to find all four tires on the vehicle tires deflated and the windshield wiper had been bent.
Nov. 15, 4:25 p.m.: A woman with three children was spotted in Target and gave each of the children an item and had them walk out of the store. Store security stopped them and found $180 in merchandise. The 30-year-old woman from Waltham was summonsed to Waltham District Court for shoplifting.
