The following information was provided by the Watertown Police Department.
Arrests
Nov. 3, 1:46 p.m.: An employee of a jewelry cart at the Watertown Mall complained about being harassed by a man. Police questioned the 41-year-old man from Watertown and found he had a warrant for a probation violation. The man was arrested.
Nov. 5, 6:39 p.m.: A man was spotted taking a number of baby items and other items, put them in a shopping cart and put a backpack on top to conceal them. Then he attempted to leave the store. When security tried to intervene, he threatened them. The 34-year-old Brookline man was arrested for larceny over $250, assault and threatening to commit a crime.
Nov. 6 12:56 p.m.: A man was spotted taking items from Home Depot. He ran from the store and met another man in a van. One man was caught with $708 in items, including two nail guns and the other man had more than $500 in merchandise. A 33-year-old man and a 35-year-old man, both from Lynn, were each arrested on a charge of larceny over $250.
Nov. 7, 3:14 a.m.: A Nash Street resident woke up when a man was knocking on a window late at night. Police found a 35-year-old Allston man near the home and detected an odor of alcohol. He said he was looking for his girlfriend’s house but appeared to go to the wrong address. He was arrested for nighttime breaking and entering.
Incidents
Nov. 2, 12:16 p.m.: A Galen Street resident reported that he discovered a diamond and ruby ring, and some cash, was missing from the home and suspects it happened when some windows were replaced in October.
Nov. 2, 4:40 p.m.: A vehicle parked in a driveway on Chapman Street was broken into and change was missing from the center console. The vehicle was left unlocked.
Nov. 2, 8:29 p.m.: I woman was spotted walking around the electronics section of Target and took a DVD player, a wireless router and other items. She then returned the items, worth $125.98, and got a gift card. She used that to buy a Blu Ray player. The 26-year-old Roxbury woman was summonsed to Waltham District Court for larceny under $250.
Nov. 4, 9:09 a.m.: A Garmin GPS unit was stolen from a car at Lexus of Watertown.
Nov. 4, 7 p.m.: Two cars were parked on Chapman Street were broken into and were rummaged through.
Nov. 6, 11:11 a.m.: A bicycle was stolen from Winter Street. The bicycle was left against a fence. It is a silver Marin men’s racing bike.
Nov. 7, 8:59 p.m.: A GPS unit was taken from a car parked in a driveway on California Park. A second vehicle was broken into but nothing was taken.
Nov. 7, 1:11 p.m.: The door frame of a car parked on Clarendon Street had a two-inch burn mark on it.
Nov. 7, 3:14 p.m.: A Summer Street resident found a bike in his yard that did not belong to him. Then he found someone entered his vehicle and took $20 in change.
