Three Watertown High School athletes signed on to keep playing sports when they head to college next year.
The National Signing Day was Wednesday, and Thursday Watertown High School held a ceremony for a trio of seniors.
Michaela Antonellis signed to play field hockey at Stonehill College.
Jason Hughes will go to Assumption College and play for their lacrosse team.
Another field hockey player, Mikayla Paone, is headed to UMass-Lowell.
Hughes and Antonellis grew up across the street from each other, playing sports such as basketball, hockey and soccer together, according to Hughes’ father Jay.
