Dear friends and neighbors,
When I first ran for Town Council, as the parent of a third grader at the Lowell School, I laid out a clear set of goals to achieve and core values to guide me. I continue to stand by those goals and values today as I run for reelection.
My vision for Watertown is a vibrant, diverse, safe community with pretty tree-lined streets and great schools.
My top priorities have been, and continue to be, robust school funding, street & sidewalk reconstruction, and managing development & traffic.
My goal is long-term financial stability for Watertown, achieved using sound financial principles and best management practices.
I believe in accountability to the voters, transparency in government, and accessibility to my constituents.
I believe that teamwork brings about the best solutions, that robust and respectful debate is healthy, and that consensus building is crucial for long-term success.
I believe that a well-run government can be a positive force in improving the lives of residents.
Watertown is a great place to live, a hidden small-town jewel in the middle of a major metropolitan area. I will work to protect the essential elements that make Watertown a great place to live, while promoting change to solve problems.
I stand by my accomplishments, which I have achieved by working collaboratively with my colleagues on the Council.
I offer you a proven track record of results, financial and technical experience, and dedication to the community.
I ask for your vote for Town Council District C on Nov. 3, 2015 so that I can continue working on your behalf towards this vision of a better Watertown.
