Candidates for District B filed their campaign finance papers, and challenger Lisa Feltner lead the way with more than $2,000 raised. A candidate in another race, however, had the most donations.
The campaign finance reports were due eight days before the preliminary election. Three of the candidates filed by the deadline – Tuesday, Sept. 8. Kevin MacDonald did not file until Sept. 10. He said he did not realize he had to file a report for the preliminary election.

Donors to Feltner’s campaign include Jonathan Bokian, Marcia Ciro, Gail Dorey, Elizabeth Fitzpayne, Anne and Theodore Hammett, Chuck Hardwick of Florida, Shaunna Harrington, Dorothea Hass of Brookline, Gary Shaw and Susan Steele.
Lenk’s donors include John S. Airasian, Robert and Kimberly Airasian, Roberta and Alan Medville-Miller and Ken Woodland.
MacDonald received $500 from the Watertown Local 1347 Fire Union.
van Dinter used $370 of her own money on her campaign.
Other Campaigns
Some candidates for other races which do not appear on the preliminary election ballot still filed their campaign finance papers.
The candidate with the most money raised, at least of those who filed a report, is Councilor at large Aaron Dushku, with $5,813. He had 59 individual donors.
Patrice Georgopoulos, who is running for councilor at large, received $1,975 in donations, including from the Watertown Fire Local 1347 Union and the New England Regional Council of Carpenters.
School Committee candidate Michael Shepard collected $20, but had more than $500 left over from the last campaign.
District A Councilor Angeline Kounelis used $38.37 of her own money on the campaign.
