This year’s town election is full of interesting races, and the perhaps the most interesting one is District B where four candidates are running for Town Council.
With such a crowded field, the town must hold a Preliminary Election to narrow the field to two. The election will be held on Thursday, Sept. 17.
Watertown News sent each candidate a questionnaire to find out more about why they are running and who they are. See their responses by clicking on each candidate’s name (order chosen at random):
Patricia van Dinter
Kevin MacDonald
Lisa Feltner
Cecilia Lenk
District B includes Precincts 4, 5 and 6. Voters cast their ballots at the Phillips School or Hibernian Hall. The district sits in the middle of Watertown. The boundaries include:
- If you are north of Mt. Auburn Street, the neighborhoods east of Common Street, west of School Street are included.
- If you are South of Mt. Auburn Street, it goes from Watertown Square to Spruce Street.
- It also includes the neighborhoods south of the Charles River.
