WHS Sports: Girls Lacrosse Gets First Tourney Win, Baseball Makes States

The Raiders girls lacrosse team made history Monday evening by getting its first ever MIAA tournament win.

Watertown doubled up visiting Bishop Stang 12-6 in the first round game at Victory Field. The Raiders were lead by the scoring of Aurora Fidler who had five goals. Jenna McMahon got a hat trick with three goals in the game.

Watertown moves on and now will visit Dover-Sherborn on Wednesday at 3:30 p.m. in the East Section Div. 2 quarterfinal.

Baseball Head to Tourney

Watertown High School’s baseball team earned the 19th seed in the North Section Div. 3 tournament. The Raiders (9-11) travel to play 14th seeded Triton (13-9) on Wednesday at 4 p.m.
