It’s tourney time for the Raiders boys’ and girls’ lacrosse teams.For the second year in a row both of Watertown High School’s lacrosse teams will play in the MIAA state tournament.
The girls team earned a first round bye in the East Section Div. 2 tournament, and will travel for the quarterfinal game. The fifth-seeded Raiders finished 13-3, and will take on fourth-seeded Dartmouth (16-2) Wednesday, May 28 at 4 p.m. at Veterans Memorial Stadium in Dartmouth.
The boys got the eighth-seed in the Central/East Section Div. 2 tournament. The Raiders (8-8) host ninth-seeded Marian at Victory Field on Wednesday, May 28 at 5 p.m. in the first round. The winner plays Dover-Sherborn in the quarterfinal on May 31.
