Watertown’s newest Dunkin’ Donuts store will be opening on Arsenal Street this month.
The store will be located at 640 Arsenal St., at the corner of Coolidge Avenue, in the space formerly occupied by the Aegean Restaurant. David Carvalho, CFO and Principal of Riverside Management Group, the owners of the store (and 19 others), said the opening day will be sometime in mid-March, and customers will enjoy a modern store.
“The new location will be a state of the art Dunkin’ Donuts location, with all of the newest and greatest customer features, ranging from flat screen TV’s to a designated ‘on-the-go’ parking spot for any customers ordering through the On-the-Go mobile app,” Carvalho said. “The store will also feature a large seating area with a wide variety of seating options from comfortable soft seats to relax and enjoy breakfast to a larger meeting area spaces to ‘plug in’ and do some work.”
The location will not have a drive-through window.
While it is located right across from the Arsenal Mall, which has its own Dunkin’ location, Carvalho said that store will close when renovation of the mall begins.
The new Dunkin’ will not fill the entire store, so another tenant is being sought.
“Although no tenant has yet been chosen, we are looking for a complementary co-tenant that will fill the needs of the local area,” Carvalho said.

Good catch!
PS, the new store sounds great!
Passing by the place, I couldn’t help but notice a railing, fencing being installed on the roof. I’m assuming it’s for outdoor seating, and it wouldn’t surprise me if it was full service
They were not joking when people say one on every corner. This must be the 5th or 6th in Watertown.
People have been discussing the number. I can think of one on Main Street, one on Mt. Auburn in Watertown Sq. another on Mt. Auburn in East Watertown, the new one on Arsenal and the one in the Arsenal Mall (but that will close when the mall is renovated). Not sure if there are others.
There’s one inside the Stop and Shop on Watertown St.
Oh, I missed that one! So there are 6, but it will become 5 when the mall project begins.
Talk about overkill, Watertown has more Dunkin Donuts stores than most cities in the state.
Still serving with those good-for-nothing ol’ cʊps? God bless us with youth enamored of eco-friendly green stuff !!!
The location in the Arsenal Project has already closed.
